Making cake for Ethan's birthday party
Licking the batter (don't worry, he didn't get his spit in the cake).
Look at those chubby cheeks. Grumps, I think he has your curly hair...lucky!
The day before Ethan's birthday was spent in the kitchen. Ethan helped Mommy make his cake (he really just wanted to lick the batter), and cut out space shuttle cookies. We had a "blast" and a big ol' mess. He is so excited about his party...those pics will come tomorrow.
Then just hung out with Daddy. He loves to hang like a monkey from a tree. Look at those cheeks!

Kids in a box
The kids (Ethan & Caroline) decided that they wanted to empty out her toybox & play. Well, as kids do, they had more fun getting inside than playing with all of the toys. These 2 are hysterical! They love on each other and are so precious to one another. Ethan is so patient with her and is her little daddy. She just smacks him around and then loves on him, and repeats it over and over. She is quite a pistol!
Wyatt actually slept through the whole ruckus that was going on in her room, but he sleeps better with noise anyway. He had a really rough night last night, but seems to be over it today (see picture below). What an angel!
Here's how you do it sis...
Does this look like trouble or what!
...& Wyatt sleeps through the whole thing!

Ethan's 5th Birthday

Ethan is obsessed with all things NASA. For his birthday, he got an astronaut suit & helmet & some other space related things. He is so proud! Since we are getting double duty from the astronaut suit for Halloween, we are giving you a little preview of Caroline in her costume too. I don't know what it is, but it had a tutu and that was all it took for me to throw the cash at the checkout girl. She was very curious about her antennae, they didn't stay on long...much like her hairbows and pigtails everyday. I didn't expect anything different.
During our "dress up time", Caroline...well...gave us a little present in her diaper, so we nicknamed her the "poop fairy" for the evening. Ha! We have decided that when you become a parent (especially of 3), many of your discussions turn to potty talk.
