I know, I know, the girls aren't much to look at. They are petite, have great arms (hey, wait a minute, I wanna be them!) and are very sturdy and well made. Trust me, the lady at the resale shop must have thought that I had too many cups of coffee the way I was "test driving" them...stand up, sit down, stand up again, sit down REALLY hard, take off the cushion, bang on the coils, lift up the skirt, turn it over...etc. I put on quite a show, I must say.
Guess how much I paid...just take a stab...$35 a piece! Yeah, I know!
or this
Even though I think I will end up reupholstering it a lot like this
Sooooo, I have a feeling that they will end up with a neutral burlapish (meaning looks like, but is more hard-wearing) upholstery. If I am feeling really crazy I might pipe it in a chocolate brown or black. I know, I am simply out of control. What can I say, it was the $35 chairs that sent me over the edge.
Here is our little spunky girl & her Bubba in the "igloo" enjoying a little hot chocolate after some inter tubing.
Bubba
This was W's first snow.
The skiing lasted all of about 30 minutes...just long enough for our little spunkster to go down the hill a few times between her Daddy's legs, throw off her gloves, throw some 'tude, and get herself carted off back to the hotel room...but not until she had a little hot chocolate with Mommy at the cafe...shhhhhhh....don't tell!
The skiing may have been a no-go, but the bungee trampoline was a big hit!
